Camel Cigarettes. Camel cigarettes were introduced as non-filter cigarettes. Camel cigarettes were originally blended to be considerably easier to smoke in contrast to brands that were considered much harsher at the time of its introduction. In the 1970’s filtered versions of Camel cigarettes were added. Even though Camel cigarettes have been around since 1913 they have remained one of the most popular cigarettes in the cigarette and tobacco industry.
